Darby Puglielli has lived in Madison for all her adult life. Her professional and volunteer work has always been in education—both learning and teaching. Between non-profits, churches, public schools, pre-schools, and daycares, Puglielli has been teaching and leading everyone from babies to great-grandparents in groups ranging in size from two to 200. She currently holds a dual position at Kennedy Elementary School in Madison as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and as an Advanced Learning (TAG) specialist. Darby and her husband of 21 years, Dave, have one son who will be attending the University of Toronto this fall and two cats. When not with students or family, Darby can be found reading a book with a cat on her lap.
