CANCELED: Making and Tinkering for Learning

March 21 @ 9:00 am CDT - 1:00 pm CDT

Four educators sit around a table to collaborate on a making activity involving markers, tape, and poster board.

Making and makerspaces have emerged as an interdisciplinary educational movement both in and out of schools. In this workshop, University of Wisconsin–Madison professor Peter Wardrip and others from Design Informal and Creative Education (DICE) will lead you in hands-on experiences to consider how making could work in service of your learning goals. Making and Tinkering for Learning is open to educators across age groups and content areas.

This workshop is affiliated with Literacy by the Lakes; Play, Make, Learn; Racine Art Museum; and National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. Lunch is provided at no cost.

Join us at one of the Making and Tinkering for Learning workshops!

Thank you for your support of the Making and Tinkering for Learning Workshop. Due to the CDC and UW–Madison campus guidelines related to COVID-19, we unfortunately must cancel this event. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
