Megan Stoen
Megan Stoen just finished her fourth year as a bilingual resource teacher for the Madison Metropolitan School District. Stoen chose to be a teacher after spending time abroad and teaching English to students in Spain and Ecuador—an opportunity where she was able to combine her love of learning and studying languages along with shaping young, brilliant minds. Stoen earned an undergraduate degree in English as a Second Language (ESL), Spanish, and bilingual education from UW–Whitewater and a master’s degree from Edgewood College. When Stoen is not teaching, she enjoys exploring all Madison has to offer, spending time at state parks hiking and kayaking, skiing, and traveling. “I have visited 30 countries, and I’m ready for so many more!” said Stoen.
