Maura Mullen

Maura Mullen received her bachelor’s degree in secondary education from UW–Madison in 2013 and her master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Edgewood College in 2017. She has taught high school science for the past seven years and currently teaches AP Biology and Ecology. She has taught physical science, forensic science, and natural science in the past. Mullen is passionate about best practices to close the opportunity gap which includes hands-on and outdoor learning, teaching language alongside science, and keeping high expectations for students in her classroom.
