Katherine E. Norman is an artist, educator, and scholar currently based at UW–Madison. Some of her favorite teaching experiences include work with Montana Shakes!, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Oakhill Prison Humanities Project, Maher Ashram, Kattaikkuttu Gurukulam, Children’s Theater of Madison, and—of course—Whoopensocker! Her doctoral research in UW’s Educational Neuroscience Lab is focused on the cognitive and neuro-developmental impact of drama. Her favorite performance credits include “Door Shakespeare,” “Optimist Theatre,” “Double Edge,” and “Adishakti.” She holds a masters degree in theater for youth from UW–Madison and a bachelor of fine arts degree in acting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. www.KatherineENorman.com
