Matthew Freid oversees PLACE’s financial, creative, and conference and event planning work. He collaborates with School of Education departments and other campus partners to design, facilitate, and implement programs for professional educators, students, and community members. He earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from DePaul University and is a former Chicago Public Schools high school English teacher.
