Kyeong Kim has been a teacher at East High School in Madison since 1999. Kim is licensed to teach secondary English as well as English as a Second Language (ESL). Before coming to Madison, Kim taught English as a Foreign Language in South Korea. Prior to beginning a teaching career at East High School, Kim earned a bachelor of science degree from the UW–Madison School of Education and a master’s degree in English from UW. Kim, who has mostly taught ESL and English but occasionally team-taught some other classes to support English Learners, has always been interested in environmental and health issues and tried to incorporate them into the curriculum. “I am excited to have an opportunity to explore the issues I am passionate about and work with other like-minded professionals,” said Kim.
