Aaron Merz has been teaching at the high school level for 23 years. He has taught on-level Economics for 22 of those years and has taught AP Micro and Macro for 12 years. He has been a reader for the AP Macroeconomics exam since 2016 and has been a table leader at the reading since 2020. He also teaches AP Psychology and AP US Government and Politics.
Aaron is originally from the Chicago area and now lives in Nicholasville, Kentucky with his wife Nicole and three children. When he’s not thinking about Economics he enjoys running Spartan races, although training for Spartan races isn’t as fun. He also enjoys cooking healthy food from scratch when he’s eating the way he should, which isn’t that often.
