Whoop-in-song LIVE!

A Live Album Recording of Some of Whoopensocker’s Greatest Hits!

Calling all Whoopensocker friends and families: We invite you to join us for an afternoon of live music, food, and fun as we celebrate Whoopensocker’s greatest hits. We’ve got it all! A live band! Whoopensocker singers! And some of your favorite Madison-area young writers’ stories turned into songs, including: “I Love Harrison Ford,” “You Can’t Tell Me No,” “Dear Dwayne the Rock Johnson,” and “Little Red Wolfinghood.” All donations go directly to our artist-in-residence programs in MMSD schools. See you there!

Thank you for your support of Whoopensocker, a program of the UW Community Arts Collaboratory. We are proud to share the stories of Madison’s young people in exciting digital formats! This decision is aligned with current UW-Madison plans and response to COVID-19. Premiere dates for online performances are to be determined; we’re working quickly to establish platforms for sharing young peoples’ stories. We appreciate your patience during this time.
