Continuing education opportunities and enrichment programs for adult learners in the fields of art, education, and health.

Creative, inspiring, and supportive youth experiences led by professionals in arts and education. K12 sessions offered during the Summer and school year.
Arts Programs
Arts programs at PLACE leverage arts expertise from all ten School of Education departments to enrich communities of learners and teachers.
Health Programs
We provide mentorship and education from the kinesiology and special education departments—and even Wisconsin Badger coaches and Athletic Department staff.
Online Programs
PLACE offers a variety of virtual learning and connection opportunities with engaging topics and relevant curriculum.

GREATER MADISON WRITING PROJECT
The Greater Madison Writing Project at University of Wisconsin – Madison is an affiliate of National Writing Project network, a nationally acclaimed professional learning community that puts educators’ knowledge, experience and voices at its center.
UW COMMUNITY ARTS COLLABORATORY
We provide art making opportunities for youth to cultivate wellness and advocate for social change. Our vision is that Wisconsin youth see themselves as learners through art making.
