“I realized that Number Talks can be very beneficial to my math classroom. They don’t take a lot of time and don’t need to be done every day, but the learning that comes from them is irreplaceable. It’s the connections students have with their thinking, other’s thinking, to the content we are working on, to the math basic facts. I have found there are so many benefits to doing Number Talks.”
